Instructional objectives forecast the learning outcome of a lesson. These objectives are precise and quantifiable and indicate the desired knowledge or skill the student is supposed to attain at the end of the lesson. They are significant to a unit and lesson plan because it provides a synthesized account of what is expected at the end of a lesson and serves as a base for choosing appropriate teaching strategies. Writing instructional objectives have assisted me in giving more structure in my lesson planning by providing a clear target when choosing appropriate strategies. The Lesson selects for Section B Question 2 (a) is Lesson #2 Batik Design.
